Aloma Blog | The Promises of God

By March 17, 2020Uncategorized

As we journey through the midst of these days of uncertainty it’s easy for us to be fearful, anxious and wonder what to do next. We know we should trust God and depend upon Him but how can we find calmness, peace, and confidence despite the circumstances around us? How can our worries and fears be replaced with a sense of God’s presence, peace, and power?

We find our answer by embracing the promises of God. By faith we can take each of His precious promises and claim them as our own. For example: He invites us come to Him. He says,  “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)  As His beloved children He is for us and promises that He will never, never, never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrew 13:5c). He implores us to press near to Him.. “casting all your anxiety upon Him because He cares for us.”( I Peter 4:7). Not one of God’s great promises has ever failed but all have come to pass.

We must remember that God is in control and has a plan for all that is happening the world and in our lives.  He never promises to exempt us from the storms of life, but promises to be with us

in their midst and carry us through. He is our anchor that holds in spite of the storm and the stability of our times (Isaiah 33:6).

During these days let us remember to daily call upon the Lord, realizing that God is in control and is using these present circumstances to strengthen His church and bring many people into His kingdom.  Let us find strength and comfort as we embrace the promises of His Word knowing that He will accomplish what concerns us (Psalm 138:8a).Aloma Blog | The Promises of God

Thankful for God’s faithfulness always, but especially during times like we are in right now. Keeping my eyes on His promises in the mist of the chaos!

Thanks Clade for reminding us of His faithfulness!
