Aloma Church Reopening MAY 31

I wanted to share an update with you about our plan on reopening the Worship Center and gathering together as the Body of Christ beginning on Sunday May 31(Pentecost Sunday) for one service at 9:30am. With Central Florida under the Governor’s Phase 1 plan of reopening, we are confident that we have put together a plan that will follow the guidelines before us while allowing us to come together and worship Jesus. Here is our plan…

The next two Sundays, May 17 and May 24, a handful of our team will be present on Sunday mornings under a soft-launch mindset, where we are making sure that everyone knows assignments, that technology is operational, and we are prepared for a safe and efficient opening to everyone on May 31. To clarify, we want you to join us online May 17 and May 24, either at 9:30 or 11:00am…AND then mark your calendar for May 31, which is the day we plan to open our doors to return to worship! We will only have one live service at 9:30am in the Worship Center and doors will open at 9:00am.

Here are the key points I want you to know:

Beginning May 31, Aloma Church will reopen our doors for people to worship together at 9:30am. Our 11:00am service is ONLINE ONLY.
We are able to safely seat 250-300 people in the Worship Center. Once we fill the Worship Center, we will begin seating in the Boatwright Center, where we will stream the service from the Worship Center to the projector screens.
At this time, you must wear a facemask. We have had a few donated to the church and will provide them free of charge, but they are first-come-first-served.
There will be no childcare and no small groups meeting at the church at this time.
Please use your best judgment whether you should attend. We will be offering a livestream through Facebook, YouTube, and our website at 9:30am and 11:00am every Sunday. We ask that you join us online if you are sick or have a weakened immune system.
Our Team will help you and your family find a seat when you arrive. Please maintain social distancing between others prior to entering and while inside the Worship Center.
We are taking every precaution we can while also reengaging the Body in worship. We do not have the supplies to thoroughly clean the facility between two services, which is why we are offering only one service beginning May 31at 9:30am. Our cleaning company will thoroughly clean the facilities after the Sunday service.
We are asking that the bathrooms be used for emergencies only.
Church, as we prayed this past Thursday for our nation on the National Day of Prayer…and as a church, we had hundreds sign-up and pray for 24 hours…let us double our efforts and pray for God to move, for lives to be changed, for people to be healed, for the nation to have revival, and for our church to impact our community…doing whatever it takes for people to experience life change.

If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected]

It is a joy to be your Pastor, and know that you are loved!
