Church Family,

This Sunday, we are excited to announce an important update to giving at Aloma Church! As you know, your generosity and financial partnership with us is how we are able to help expand the Kingdom and see lives changed. We value our church family and want to make sure everyone at Aloma Church is aware of this exciting new giving platform, which allows for simple giving through a variety of ways, including mobile and online.

You can try it out before Sunday, and even set up an account, if you’d like!

To get started, you can:

Text ALOMACHURCH (as one word) to 77977

There are many ways to use this amazing platform and we’ll be explaining more this Sunday, so make sure you’re there! We’ll also have staff and volunteers ready to answer your questions after services.

See you Sunday,

Pastor Wes

Spend Your Holidays with Us!

Dear Aloma Church Family,

I am excited about what God is doing here at Aloma Church!

God is allowing us to see more and more lives changed every single year. We are coming off a record-setting month attendance-wise in both our kids and Student ministries. Celebrate Freedom, English Club, and many of our other community ministries are reaching countless people in our community. Additionally, God has opened an exciting door for us to reach the island of Cuba and we have already seen scores of people give their lives to the Lord.

It is a remarkable time to be a part of Aloma Church!

I wanted to remind you of our Christmas Holiday schedule. With Christmas Day and New Year’s Day falling on Sunday this year, we will be adjusting our normal times. We have enclosed a complete Holiday schedule for your convenience:

I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and we look forward to an incredible New Year. As we conclude 2016 (the Year of Evangelism), we set our sights on the horizon of 2017, the Year of Community.

Thank you for doing whatever it takes so others may experience life change!

Blessed to be your Pastor,

Pastor Wes

Statement on Orlando Shooting

On behalf of our Aloma Church family, we are shocked and saddened by the heinous act committed in our city early this morning. We are praying for the families and beloved friends of those killed and injured in this act of terrorism.

While our theological and biblical interpretations sometimes seem to divide us from communities within our city, our Christian faith would never allow us to engage in harmful or murderous acts towards those with whom we may disagree. Any ideology that affirms or encourages such behavior is evil at its core and a detriment to free society.

May God heal the hearts and lives of those affected through this tragedy.

New Service & Life Group Times

By | Church, Family, Uncategorized | No Comments

Aloma Church is growing!

That is such an exciting announcement to make. Our growth covers every age level, from babies to Senior Adults and everyone in between. We have seen a 16% growth in our worship services and over 50% increase in baptisms. Praise the Lord!

God is bringing the increase to Aloma Church. Paul reminds us in 1 Cor. 3:6-7 that it’s the Lord that brings growth. While He uses us to share and serve, God is the One to be praised for our growing church.

About a year-and-a-half ago we consolidated all our Life Groups into one hour at 9:30. This was done to build the discipleship ministry of the church. Our early thought was that we would have 3 years before we outgrew the one Life Group hour. Boy, were we wrong!

Many of our Life Group classes have doubled, tripled, and one has quadrupled in a year! We are utilizing 100% of our available space and we have several new classes ready to launch. We have a group of 15 single moms ready to start their own Life Group class but we currently have no room to give them.

This is why we have announced our new worship and Life Group times beginning June 12.

New Service & Life Group Times – Beginning JUNE 12th

Worship Services:

  • 9:30am – Celebrate Service (choir-led)
  • 11:00am – Elevate Service (band-led)

Life Groups:

Join me in thanking God for the exciting growth He is bringing to our church. Also join me in praying for Sunday, June 12 as we launch our new times!

Blessed to be your Pastor,
