What to Expect at Aloma Church

First-time guests at Aloma Church often have lots of great questions. Here are answers to a few of the most popular ones.

Where Should I Park?
Follow our helpful parking attendants. First time and returning visitors, look for the premium parking right up front.

How Should I Dress?
Our church welcomes guests from all different walks of life, just be comfortable and tasteful. Jeans and a T-shirt are as acceptable as a suit or a dress.

Where should I take my children?
We have the perfect place for your children 6 weeks old through fifth grade in our Kids Zone building across from the Worship Center during both worship times and the LifeGroup hour. Your middle and high schoolers can attend a Group in our Howell Park center at 9:30 with our Aloma Students ministry and then join you at 11:00am in the Worship Center.

Where do I sit in the Worship Center?
There are no assigned seats, just sit where you like. At each door, you’ll see greeters who would love the opportunity to guide you toward a comfortable spot. And don’t worry, every seat has a great view with our 3 large HD projector screens that display lyrics to songs, onscreen bible notes, and Pastor during his message. No matter where you sit, you’ll have a perfect view with our 3 large screens. Our Elevate Service at 11:00am also includes sign language.

What’s the music like?
We love to worship God and we know that taste in music is different for everyone. Our goal is to create an atmosphere where everyone can worship together, despite our differences in taste. Aloma Church provides two worship options, starting with our CELEBRATE service, which features a choir and is more traditional. Our ELEVATE service offers more contemporary music and is band-led. Both services have the same heart, a desire to share the love of Christ with a hurting world.

Does Pastor Wes Preach the same Message at Both Services?
While the worship styles may differ, Pastor Wes creates messages that are designed to speak to everyone. Both services feature the same preaching message, which can be found on the website following the service. We love to worship in different ways but when sharing from the word of God, Pastor Wes brings something unique that everyone can take home with them as they start their week.

How long does service last?
Each worship service lasts about 1 hour total. We appreciate you spending your time with us!

How can I get connected?
Aloma Church has a wide variety of groups you can join, midweek classes, service opportunities and fellowship events! We provide every opportunity that you could imagine for deeper connection and growth in faith.

What are the people at Aloma Church like?
We’re a multi-generational church who have equally been blessed with a diverse community and many walks of life. While we all come from different places, the Gospel of Jesus Christ unites us. Unity is a big deal to us, especially with a world that seems more and more separate. To put it simply, Aloma Church is full of fun-loving people who are passionate about Jesus.
